WIT Newsletter June 2026
Hello, Data WIT!
Happy June, everyone! This year keeps flying by.
We had a great May meetup. Our speaker was Kendra Little, who had a great presentation called “The Anti-Hustle Guide to Technical Blogging”. It had a lot of great tips for those who currently blog or just want to get started. If you missed it, you can catch it on our YouTube channel.
We’re excited for our next meetup on June 9th at noon Eastern US. Padma Rama Divya Achanta will be presenting “Inside Azure SQL Database: Practical Tips, Hidden Tools & Cost-Saving Tricks”. This should be a useful session for anyone in the cloud who is worried about costs. Make sure to RSVP and join us live.
We keep hearing that conference organizers, such as those for Data Saturdays or Day of Data, are always looking for more WIT speakers, so make sure you’re keeping an eye out for the Call for Speaker Announcements. (Call for Data Speakers is a great resource to find out what’s open.) If you need help getting started, you’ll find that there are a lot of people willing to help, so reach out and let us know!
It seems like things are slowing down, but we’re going to be busy planning and working on things to come while we can. As always, if there’s anything we can do to help support you and other Data Platform Women in Tech, please let us know!
