Hello Data Platform Women in Tech –

August is wrapping up, but it looks like it’s going to be a busy time between now and the end of the year. We’re about to go deep into conference season, from big events like PASS Data Community Summit to smaller ones like SQL & Data Saturdays, with some virtual events like Future Data Driven Summit in between. Keep an eye out for all the amazing WIT speakers who are sharing their knowledge or even helping to organize these events. If there are Women In Tech events, like the Women In Tech Keynote Luncheon at PASS Data Community Summit, make sure to attend those sessions and show your support. (If you see these missing at the events, reach out to the organizers or us, and let’s put something together!) One of the best things about these events is being able to connect with each other, and we’re looking forward to connecting with all of you at these events. Make sure to say hi if you see us!

We know that not everyone can attend these events in person. Don’t worry—we see you and are thinking of other ways for us to connect.

One way to do that is by attending our monthly meetups. The next one is September 9th at noon Eastern US time. We’re excited for our speaker, Tiffany Portis, and her “Leading as an Introvert” talk. This topic is near and dear to many of us, and we can’t wait to learn from Tiffany. Make sure you sign up here.
